Cross Country Update

Congratulations to the SFSC Lady Panther Cross Country team, who finished as the FCSAA Regional runners up Saturday, Oct. 28, at the region meet in Tallahassee. The Panthers were edged for first place by Pasco Hernando State who are the regional champs for 2017.

The Panthers were led by Lexy Barraza, who finished  9th overall (22.28), followed by  Brenda Miramontes 11th (22:41) Kamryn Folger 12th (23:03), Iliana Addison 15th (23:47), Contessa Egan 20th (24:50) Mariah Turgeon 21st (25:07 and Sarahi Rivera 22nd (25:52).  The Panthers placed 5 runners in the top 20 for the event.

Next up the FCSAA 2nd ranked Panthers will be traveling to Fort dodge Iowa for the NJCAA National Championships Saturday, Nov. 11.
