AFC Movie on the Lawn a Success
Approximately 60 students, staff, family, and friends returned to the Highlands Campus on Nov. 10, at 7 p.m., with chairs, blankets, and pillows to sit on the Panther Lawn near the SFSC Library to watch the movie, “Monster-in-Law.” Movie goers had their share of munchies as AFC members served hot dogs, popcorn, candy, and drinks. Although planned as a social event rather than a fundraiser, AFC collected $107.75 in concession sales and approximately 150 pounds of non-perishable food for local food banks. The question asked over and over again through the evening was, “When will the college do this again?” Stay tuned.
