Trustees Elect New Officers

At the July SFSC District Board of Trustees (DBOT) reorganizational meeting, Derren J. Bryan of Hardee County was elected chair for 2016-17, and Timothy Backer of Desoto County was elected vice chair. Bryan was appointed to the board in 2011, and Backer was appointed in 2009.

In appreciation for her service as chair of the DBOT for 2015-16, Kris Rider was presented an inscribed (and heavy!) vase by Dr. Thomas Leitzel.
