Who Will be the Biggest Loser?

The SFSC Wellness Committee wants employees to compete against each other for the top spot of  the “Biggest Loser.”bigloser1

The committee challenges employees to see how much weight they can drop in one month, laying claim to the title of the “Biggest Loser.” The competition runs Sept. 30 through Oct. 28.

Here’s how it works: Weigh in at the beginning of the competition and again at the end. Weight loss will be calculated as the percent change in weight. So, there’s no need to fret about revealing your weight, which will be known only by the staff member who recorded your weight. Throughout the month, employees will get motivational tips, sample workouts, and recipes sent to their email

The male and female employees with the largest percent decrease will be declared the winners. Students will join the competition too. They will receive recognition separately. Prizes will be awarded one week after the competition.

Employees can weigh in on Sept. 30 in the Dean of Students Services Office suite, Highlands Campus, Room B-274. Ask for Andi Lott or Lisa Johnson-Decarie on weigh-in day. If you are unable to make it to weigh-in day, contact Lott at lotta@southflorida.edu for alternative arrangements.
