AVID Site Team Attends Summer Institute

According to Courtney Green, the AVID site team rustled up high engagement strategies at the Summer Institute in San Antonio, Texas, last week. Karla Respress, Dr. Theresa James, Alex Aguilar, and Mary Ann Little learned new teaching strategies by attending the High Engagement Strategies strand. Michele DeVane and Dr. Maday Leon attended the Teacher Preparation Institute, and Green attended the Liaison strand.

“We plan to implement these Texas-sized ideas for the fall term,” Green said.
