Building Y Electrical Panel Under Repair

The transformer that feeds electricity to Building Y (Learning Resource Center) will be disconnected at 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, so that a new electrical panel can be installed. It is anticipated that repairs will be made throughout the day and perhaps into Friday, but they should be completed by the weekend.

Limited library services will be available on Thursday. Services for research and Internet needs will be available in Building G, Room 103. Student Support Services/TRiO staff will temporarily relocate and post signage on their offices directing visitors to their location. eLearning staff will relocate to the IT department to prevent any disruption with D2L. The Tutoring and Learning Center will not be impacted since Enrique Ramos has finished his classes and there are no services at this time. Dr. Chris van der Kaay, Chuck Hemler, and Melanie Jackson are working together to make sure the temporary transition runs smoothly for everyone.
