United Way Day of Caring
Dear United Way Supporter,
On Thursday, April 23, 2026, you and your coworkers can experience one of the most rewarding days of the year by forming a team to participate in the 2026 Day of Caring in Highlands County!
What is Day of Caring?
This is an opportunity for local residents to make a hands-on impact with United Way partner agencies and see how your United Way contributions are being invested. Small and large teams will help United Way partner agencies and other incredible not-for-profit organizations perform tasks they might not otherwise have the manpower to accomplish. These tasks may include beautifying landscapes or improving facilities.
How can you get involved?
To get involved and to ensure this volunteer experience is both enjoyable and truly meaningful for everyone involved, please register NO LATER than Friday, March 27. To register for the SFSC team, please email Don Kesterson at kestersd@southflorida.edu and please provide the following information:
- Provide your name (first, last)
- Will you be participating in the lunch after the activity? Yes or No
- What size T-shirt will you need? (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3X)
