Mandatory Training

As you may be aware, in May the governor signed into law House Bill 757, which requires enhancements to the safety protocols within our Florida College and University Systems. To ensure that South Florida State College is in compliance with state laws and the new Department of Education Rule 6A-14.012, we will be rolling out mandatory training courses in Vector Solutions/Safe Colleges that must be completed by all employees by Friday, Nov. 20, 2026.

Your individual educational training course plan that will be sent to you is based on your position and authority. That being said, each employee will have their own specific training plan sent to them.

Please keep an eye out for the notification of these training courses in your College email. We will be targeting the release of the training during the week of Oct.19, 2026.
