Meritorious Awards Recognize Employees for Achievement

At the annual holiday luncheon sponsored by SFSC’s Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) chapter, Dr. Thomas C. Leitzel and Tim Backer, chair of the District Board of Trustees, honored 10 employees and two volunteers with the Meritorious Award for their outstanding service to the college. Students studying for careers in the health sciences at SFSC received more than $21,000 in scholarships during the December meeting of SFSC’s District Board of Trustees.
