Plaque Honors Alumni Association Founders

A plaque recognizing the founding members of the SFSC Alumni Association is now on display in Building B. The plaque was unveiled on April 19 with many of the honorees in attendance, including Donald L. Appelquist, Max Gooding, Jane Hancock, Patricia Manderville, Lena D. Phelps and Sarah Sconyers. Founding members Darrell Jensen and John P. Scherlacher were also recognized although unable to attend. The plaque was presented by Deanne Shanklin, the resource development specialist for the SFSC Foundation who coordinates the association’s activities, and Jamie Bateman, the Foundation’s executive director.

All graduates of SFSC are invited to join the Alumni Association by completing an online application. Anyone who has been associated with the College over the years is welcome to apply for affiliate membership.
