Blood Drive: The Big Red Bus Comes to the Highlands Campus Jan. 28 and 29

The OneBlood bloodmobile will be on the circle on the Highlands Campus Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Wednesday, Jan. 29, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. All blood donors will receive a free movie ticket and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse, and cholesterol screening. According to OneBlood, these are only a few of the many reasons to donate blood:

• Blood is needed every two seconds.
• About one in seven people entering a hospital will need blood.
• Approximately 41,000 units of blood are used each day in the United States.
