Panther Spirit Visits the Boys & Girls Clubs
On Wednesday, June 21, students turned out in Building B on the Highlands Campus to create spirit posters that will be used for Strive for Success to College events at the Boys & Girls Club of Highlands County on Monday, June 26 and at the Boys & Girls Club of DeSoto County on Wednesday, July 12. During Strive for Success, recruiter Sofia Ochoa and SFSC staff and students will facilitate educational activities at the clubs. The posters will be used to motivate and inspire youth in our tri-county region. According to Ochoa, “These posters will be on display around the Boys & Girls Club gyms to make it feel like an SFSC pep rally.”
