Panther Athletics Update

The NJCAA’s 13th-ranked Lady Panther Cross Country team did not have a meet last week but will be back in action this Friday, Sept. 29 as they travel to Tallahassee to compete in the Florida State Invitational. Meet time is 7:40 a.m.

In Volleyball action last week, the Lady Panthers dropped three SunLakes Conference matches. On Tuesday, Sept. 19, visiting Lake Sumter State College defeated the Lady Panthers in straight sets, 0-3.

On Friday, Sept. 22, the Panthers hosted St. Johns River State and lost 1-3 to the Vikings. In the final match of the week on Sunday, Sept. 24, the Lady Panthers lost 0-3 to visiting Florida State College of Jacksonville.

The Lady Panthers are 2-6 overall and 1-6 in Conference play. They will travel to Pensacola on Friday, Sept. 29 to take on Pensacola State College and will head over to Panama City on Saturday, Sept. 30 to play Gulf Coast State College.
