Panther Athletics Update

Volleyball:

In Volleyball action last week, the Lady Panthers fell in straight sets 0-3 to Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth. The loss dropped the Panthers to 5-10 on the season overall and 3-9 in the Sun Lakes Conference.

Next up: The Lady Panthers will play their final match of the season on Friday, Oct. 20 when they travel to New Port Richey to take on Pasco Hernando State College with a match time of 6 p.m.

Cross Country:

The NJCAA’s 19th-ranked team traveled to Lakeland to compete in the Florida Southern Invitational last Friday the 13th. The Lady Panthers finished eighth in the mostly four-year-college event. Leading the way for the Panthers was Alexis Ramirez who finished 21st overall in the field of 120 runners.

Next up: The Lady Panthers will head to Tallahassee next week to compete in the FCSAA Region 8 Meet on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 9:30 a.m.
