Nineteen students from SFSC presented their research during the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) that was held Feb. 16-17 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Faculty mentors who attended the conference with the students were Dr. Mintoo Patel, Dr. Daniel Sanches, Karla Respress, and Dr. James Hawker. As well as the conference presentation experience, FURC offers undergraduate students opportunities to network with fellow academics and graduate programs nationwide, as well as workshops and other professional development opportunities.
