As the summer progresses and you may find a little extra time in your schedule, we would like to remind you of a few features within your Outlook email, as we serve our community professionally and courteously.
Please make sure that your email signature looks like the following, using an official SFSC logo:
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
If it does not, please visit Panther Central and click on “Creating Email Signature in Outlook” or “Creating Email Signature in Panther Central” under Public Relations Resources.

Your signature should be the final item to close out your outgoing messages, so please refrain from including any graphics, sayings, quotes, scripture, or stationery.
You can also add your pronouns underneath your name, if you choose to, which should be listed with commas and parentheses, such as (she, her, hers), (he, him, his), or (they, them, theirs).
You can also list your terminal degree after your name, but if you have any questions about whether or not your degree is terminal, please contact Melissa Kuehnle at kuehnlem@southflorida.edu. Health sciences is an exception and can list their relevant credentials.
Another item to take a look at is your profile photo. Please ensure that your profile photo in Outlook is a professional headshot or a generic shot of you.
For example:
|
ACCEPTABLE |
NOT ACCEPTABLE |
If you do not want to add a photo of yourself, please leave the default image, which Outlook sets as a circle with your initials.
As always, thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Have a safe and sensational summer!
