SFSC Panthers Athletic Update

Cross Country:

In Cross Country action on Friday, Aug. 29 in Jacksonville, the Lady Panthers started the 2025 season with a 14th place overall finish against a very competitive field of mostly Division I-level four-year teams. The Panthers competed against UCF, University of North Florida, University of South Florida, Stetson University, Jacksonville University, Florida Gulf Coast University, and several others.

In the two-year college category, the Lady Panthers finished third behind Daytona State and Seminole State.

The Lady Panthers are back in action on Friday, Sept. 5 as they travel to the Keiser University Invitational.

Volleyball:

The Lady Panther Volleyball team will open its regular season on the road at Lake Sumter State College on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m.

On Friday, Sept. 5, the Lady Panthers will travel to Jacksonville for a 5 p.m. match.

And on Saturday, the Lady Panthers will travel to Palatka to take on St. John’s River State College at 1 p.m.

All three matches are Sun Lakes Conference matches.
