You may have noticed a set of two posters in a building you frequent on campus. These posters display the College’s mission statement. As an activity for accreditation, we are asking you to help us show that SFSC is Living the Mission.

Your Assignment:

Your office will receive stickers. When you receive your special paw sticker with your name on it, you will use it to connect with the mission. You can review the College’s mission statement to see which sentence or words you connect with best and place your sticker next to it on the poster in your assigned building (see below for poster locations). Try not to cover up any words so your coworkers can find the spot they connect to as well. If you are a part-time or adjunct employee, you can pick up a blank sticker from Melissa Kuehnle and write your name on it on Oct. 15 in the CIT or Oct. 16 in the HSEC (see below for times). Please complete this activity by Friday, Oct. 31.

Mission in Action:

In addition, we are asking you to choose to record a 10-15-second video OR email a one-sentence quote that explains your personal connection to our mission.

If you would like to record a quick video, you can stop in:

• Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 2-4 p.m. in the CIT (H-110)
• Thursday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m.-noon. in the lobby of HSEC

To find your poster location:

• The OCIS locations have posters in each of their main buildings.
• Buildings A and Y will post their stickers to the posters in Building Y. They are on the first floor by the Adult Education area.
• Buildings C-1, C-2, F, and G will post their stickers to the posters in Building F. They are near the steps in the alcove.
• Buildings H, J, S, and K will post their stickers to the posters in the CIT. They are on the glass window in the meeting room.
• Building I has a set of posters near Room 116 on the first floor.
• Buildings CC and DD will post their stickers to the posters on the first floor in Building DD. They are next to the bulletin board.
• Building HSEC has a set of posters next to the bulletin board on the first floor.
• Buildings M, N, O, P, T, and T-1 will post their stickers to the posters in Building T. They are next to the vending machines.
• Buildings B, D, E, and the University Center will post their stickers to the posters in Building B. They are on the blue wall adjacent to the steps.
• Building X has its own set of posters.

SIDE QUEST: When you find your poster and stick your sticker, you can take a selfie and post to social media with the hashtag #LivetheMissionSFSC.
