ESOL Adjunct Instructor Recognized for Excellence

On Thursday, Nov. 6, Olga Ortegón, SFSC Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instructor, was recognized as the Paraprofessional of the Year at Memorial Elementary School in Sebring.

“We are very proud of Olga for being recognized as the Paraprofessional of the Year,” said Carol Pinzon, SFSC Adult Education Programs coordinator. “She has been an Adult ESOL instructor at the College for the past 13 years. Her kindness, dedication, and hard work inspire both colleagues and students every day. This well-deserved recognition shows our students at SFSC the power of caring, commitment, and making a difference.”
