Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by the ACEN

ACEN Accreditation Review Visit for SFSC's Associate Degree and Baccalaureate Degree Nursing programs. You are invited! Public meeting is Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. in the Center for Innovative Teaching. The South Florida State College Nursing Education Department wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree and Baccalaureate Nursing programs by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the programs in person at a meeting scheduled at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, in the Center for Innovative Teaching (CIT) at 600 West College Drive, Avon Park, FL.

Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted to the ACEN via email at public-comments@acenursing.org or to the ACEN office:
