Passing of Mr. Bill Henderson

Mr. Bill Henderson, who faithfully served the South Florida State College Adult Education Department for 20 years, passed away on Feb. 15, 2026. During his tenure, he dedicated himself to teaching GED Prep classes to inmates at the Highlands County Jail, making a meaningful and lasting impact on many students’ lives.

His commitment, compassion, and service to our community will be greatly missed.
