Open Enrollment 2026

Open Enrollment for the State Group Insurance Program will begin on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, at 8 a.m. ET and end on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET. Any benefit elections or changes made during this enrollment period will become effective Friday, Jan. 1, 2027.

Employees are encouraged to review all available benefit options and make informed decisions for themselves and their families. To learn more about the plans available, visit MyBenefits.MyFlorida.com and review the educational resources provided by the Division of State Group Insurance. Benefit elections must be completed through People First during the Open Enrollment period.

Benefits Fairs will be held statewide from Monday, Sept. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, offering employees the opportunity to meet with benefit providers, learn about available plans, and receive answers to their benefits-related questions. Attendance at a Benefits Fair is voluntary and must occur on the employee’s own personal time, as attendance is not considered work time. Please refer to the Benefits Fair Schedule for dates and locations.
